Prometheus Design Tool (PDT)

The Prometheus Design Tool (PDT) is a tool that supports the Prometheus methodology for building agent based systems. PDT is developed and supported by the RMIT Intelligent Agents Group.

6th October 2009 -  

 

Eclipse-based PDT Beta version: v0.2.7

 

This PDT version was built based on Eclipse platform. We now release a beta version for testing purpose. Please refer to the quick start manual and have a try. Any kind of feedback is welcomed.

21st August 2008 -  

 

New Version of PDT released : v3.3.

This version fixes some minor bugs and has some additional features to Version 3.2b. Click here for a list of them

 

 

26th February 2008 -  

 

New Version of PDT released : v3.2b. This is the same as 3.2a except that it is now compatible with Java 1.6 as well.

 

 

22nd January 2008 -  

 

New Version of PDT released : v3.2a

 

This version has some additional features to version 3.1a and bug fixes. Click here for a list of them

 

New Eclipse plug-in released which is compatible with Eclipse version 3.2 and above. Click on the plug-in tab above to download.

New Version of PDT released : V3.1a

 

This version fixes some minor bugs and has some additional features to version 3.1. Click here for a list of them

 

 

22nd July 2007 -  

 

New Version of PDT released : V3.1

 

Note that this version is not backward compatible and old files cannot be opened with this version. This version has various bugs related to protocols and code generation fixed. A list of changes will be released soon.

Notably the code generation now allows iteration between the design and code, allowing users to manually edit code that is not affected if the code is regenerated

22nd March 2007 -  

There are some known issues with PDT running using the JAVA 1.6 beta release. In particular, report generation is not stable and also on start up, the first click on a diagram throws an exception, although it doesn't affect the execution thereafter. Given that Java 1.6 is still in Beta release we won't attempt to address these issues just yet.
Continue to run PDT under Java JRE 1.5.X until a stable version of 1.6 is released.
 

28th July 2006 -  

New Version of PDT released : V2.5f

Various bugs (including that in code generation) fixed. The protocol specification follows stricter AUML2.
