The DOA'99 symposium is co-located with the VLDB (Very Large Database) 1999 International conference. The Proceedings of the DOA'99 symposium are distributed by IEEE Press. The DOA'99 symposium is supported by OMG (Object Management Group) and by the Interoperability Clearinghouse.

Best papers will be invited for expanded publication in a special issue  of the TAPOS International Journal in February 2000.
