Attendance of DOA'99 for graduate students (who are NOT authors of a contribution) is
encouraged. Their registration fee is lowered to 300 Euro (310 US$) instead of 550 Euro, provided
the following three conditions are met:
  1. please provide a.s.a.p. a very short overview of your university studies and a statement why DOA'99 is of concrete interest to your graduate studies. Please also arrange for an endorsement by your advisor/thesis promoter by separate email. This last element is crucial.
  2. register provisionally on the DOA'99 web site http://www.cs.rmit.edu.au/conf/doa99/ with the button "GRAD. STUDENT" clicked. Fill in the amount of 300 Euro as registration fee.
  3. wait for approval by the Programme Committee (within 2 days after application and endorsement are received) and initiate your payment as instructed on the registration form. Proof of payment (e.g. a fax of the bank statement to the Symposium Secretariat +32 3 327 9422) must reach us before AUGUST 6; transfer MUST be electronic.


"Graduate Student" registration is fully equivalent to a "regular" one. The conf. banquet will be separately priced. Please be advised that DOA'99 will admit only a maximum of 10 (ten) graduate students under these conditions, and on a first come first served basis.
