Camera ready instructions for OTM'03 Conferences
DOA, CoopIS and ODBASE - Accepted Full Papers ONLY


OTM Full papers will appear in a single Springer Verlag LNCS proceedings.
Workshop papers and posters will appear in a separate Springer Verlag proceedings to the conference full papers.

The maximum length for accepted full papers is 18 pages (Springer Verlag Format)

Authors of accepted papers must follow carefully ALL the steps below.

• Step 1: Nominate Presenter
• Each paper must be presented during the conference.
• Send an email to kwonlai@cs.rmit.edu.au by August 20th to indicate the name and email of the presenter.
  
  
• Step 2: Camera Ready Preparation

 
• Full papers will appear in the final proceedings.
• Full papers must follow Springer Verlag format.
• Author's instructions can be found at http://www.springer.de/comp/lncs/authors.html.
• Full papers should not exceed 18 pages in length.  At most 2 additional pages are allowed (for full papers only) at a cost of 100.00 Euro per extra page. The payement should be included with the registration.
• Step 3: Register to the Conference

 
• For papers to be included in the proceedings, one of the presenting co-authors must register to the conference.
• It is also a requirement for one of the co-authors to present at the conference.
• Registration deadline: September 8, 2003

• Step 4: Submission of Camera Ready

 
• Deadine: August 30, 2003
• Camera-ready copies and all the files must be submitted electronically to Kwong Lai (kwonlai@cs.rmit.edu.au).
• For each accepted paper, Kwong Lai must receive a gzip tar file containing the following files:
• source (input) files, e.g. TeXfiles for the TeX and PS or EPS files for the figures;
• RTF file, if authors have prepared their papers using a word processing systems other LaTeX or TeX.
• Any style files, templates, and any special fonts the authors may used;
• the final DVI file (for papers prepared using LaTeX or TeX);
• the final PS file;
• the final PDF file
• In the subject of your email, please indicate :
• The name of the conference, and
• The paper ID (included in your notificiation email)
• Also indicate in the body of your email :
• A note to confirm you have registered according to step 2.
• The title of your paper
• Names of the first and second author
• Step 5: Fax signed copyright form

 
• Authors of accepted full papers must fax the copyright form to Zahir Tari (+61 3 9662 1617).
• Please clearly stating in the first page of the fax the conference name (e.g. CoopIS'03, ODBASE'03 or DOA'03) and the paper ID.
• The form can be found at http://www.springer.de/comp/lncs/copyright.html.
• The volume editor should be filled in as "Robert Meersman, Zahir Tari, Douglas Schmidt et al."
• The Conference/Books field should be filled in as "OTM 2003 Conferences"
