Abstract:
RMIT International University Vietnam
has been in operation for three years now. Whilst many of the challenges of the
initial phase have been overcome, further challenges of consolidation remain,
including establishing a research culture. In this seminar I will give a report
on various discussions that took place in a recent visit, and discuss some
opportunities for ongoing interaction, including staff visits to RMIT Vietnam,
supervision of research students and research into teaching methodologies.

James Harland is an Associate Professor in Computational Logic at RMIT
