Abstract:

This "seminar" will be an informal discussion on aspects of research supervision in the School.

The discussion, which is intended to include audience participation, will cover topics including how to get research students, the processes associated with research students, RMIT's supervisor registry, and supervisor development.

NOTE: this session counts as half a session of supervisor development.

About the speakers:

Dr. Michael Winikoff is the Research Programs Leader in the School of CS&IT. Dr. Saied Tahaghoghi is the School coordinator for Higher Degrees by Research.
