Abstract:

3D Embodied Agents are now becoming more and more common in different applications fields ranging from simulations, entertainment to web applications. Those characters, sometimes referred to as virtual persona, act as virtual advisors, instructors or games personages just to name a few. The aim of this talk is to introduce SAMIR, the embodied conversational agent implemented during my PhD, and to introduce some possible directions for my future research dealing with 3D games, interactive drama and learning agents as well.
