Abstract:
Software testing is maturing as a discipline and gaining a higher profile
within the Software Development Lifecycle. The development of greater Software
Testing capability and capacity is becoming a priority, particularly as many
Australian organisations explore outsourced or off-shore software development
models. This presentation examines a number of emerging trends within Software Testing
in the light of local industry expectations and requirements, and looks at the
implications for I.T. training in the Australian context.
About the speaker:
Dr. Mark Pedersen is a Senior Consultant and the Regional Manager for
Mark currently advises on the company’s national consulting practice, and is
actively engaged in usability testing, test process improvement, test
automation and developing agile approaches to software testing.
