Abstract:

Software testing is maturing as a discipline and gaining a higher profile within the Software Development Lifecycle. The development of greater Software Testing capability and capacity is becoming a priority, particularly as many Australian organisations explore outsourced or off-shore software development models. This presentation examines a number of emerging trends within Software Testing in the light of local industry expectations and requirements, and looks at the implications for I.T. training in the Australian context.
