SWIRL 2012 will be held in Lorne, 15th--17th February, 2012.

We have organised a coach to pick up from 2 locations in the morning - the first will be Rydges on Swanston at 8:00am, the second being the Ibis Hotel at 8:10am (or as soon as the coach gets there after Rydges). A coach will be booked to drive participants to Lorne early on Wednesday the 15th.

The opening dinner will be at Rydges, 701 Swanston St, (http://www.rydges.com/Melbourne), level 4 from 7:15pm.

For Tuesday, two hotels that are close to where the dinner and the coach pick up point will be are:

• The IBIS in Melbourne, close by and reasonably priced
• The Jasper, also close by but a bit more expensive than the IBIS

Transportation back from Lorne to Melbourne will be provided, arriving in the city by around 7pm on Friday 17th. If you plan to leave us that night, then it will take about 40 minutes from the centre to the airport. There are late flights back to Europe, so you should be able to fly out on Friday night if you want to. For US travellers, the earliest departure is likely to be Saturday morning.
